¶ Overview
The Linking Users to Accounts page provides instructions on how to manage user access within different types of accounts—whether it's your own account, a sub-dealer, or a sub-consumer account. It explains the process for sending invitations to new or existing Polygon users and managing linked users.
¶ Navigating to the Account User Screen
¶ For Own Account Users
- Login to your account.
- Click on the Users option in the left-side menu.
- User List
¶ For Sub-Dealer Account Users
- Login to your account.
- Navigate to the Accounts section in the left-side menu.
- Select Dealer, then click on the Manage User option.
- Note: This option is only available for dealers, meaning only a dealer can onboard another dealer. Consumers cannot access this option.
¶ For Sub-Consumer Account Users
- Login to your account.
- Navigate to the Accounts section in the left-side menu.
- Select Consumer, then click on the User option.
- This option is available for both dealers and consumers. Dealers can add users to any sub-dealer or sub-consumer account, while consumers can only add users to sub-consumer accounts.
¶ Linking Users to Accounts
¶ Sending an Invitation
- To link a user to an account, you need to send an invitation.
- Existing Polygon User: Invite an existing Polygon user by sending an email invitation.
- New Polygon User: You can also invite a new user by entering their email address.
¶ Notification
- Once a user is successfully linked to an account, they will receive a notification email confirming the link.
