In Polygon, the Viewing and Managing Users section allows administrators to see all users associated with their account. From this page, administrators can view user details, remove users, and change user roles to ensure proper access and permissions.
To view all users under your Polygon account: Link
- Navigate to the Users section in your account settings.
- You will see a list of all users currently associated with the account.
- Each user entry will display the following information:
- User Name: The name of the user.
- Role: The user's assigned role within the account (e.g., Admin, Viewer).
- Status: The user's current status (e.g., Active, Inactive).
To remove a user from your Polygon account:
- Locate the user you wish to remove in the user list.
- Click on the Remove button next to the user’s name.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Confirm the action to proceed.
- The user will be removed from the account.
To change a user’s role:
- Find the user whose role you wish to modify.
- Click on the current role displayed next to the user’s name.
- A dropdown menu with available roles will appear.
- Select the new role you want to assign to the user.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
- User Not Listed: If a user does not appear in the list, ensure they are properly associated with the account. Check account invitations or user registrations.
- Errors When Removing Users: If you encounter errors while trying to remove a user, ensure the user is logged out of all active sessions before attempting again.
- Role Change Issues: If role changes are not saving, check that you have the necessary permissions to modify roles.
