Devices or units? This page is about devices, the tracking hardware installed in a vehicle or on an asset. To send a command from the map, see Send a command to a unit's device.
The Log tab lists the commands sent to one device, newest first, with the status of each and the device's reply. To open it, in the side menu, select Devices, select Edit or View on the device's row, select the Commands tab, then select Log.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Command | The command's name. For a custom command, the text sent to the device shows under the name. |
| Time | When the command was created, in your account's date and time format. |
| Status | A badge with the command's status. See Statuses. |
| Actions | The arrow shows or hides the command's details. The eye icon opens the command with the values it was sent with. |
The search box above the table filters the log. Entries under the table sets the rows per page.

Older log rows recorded as executed show as Sent.
A row opens its details on its own when the device replied or the command failed with a reason. Select the arrow to open or close the details of any other row.
The details can hold:
The log updates while it is open. A command you send with Execute joins the top of the first page at once, without reloading the list. Its status changes as the server reports progress.
If the live connection drops, the app checks the commands still waiting that are younger than 10 minutes. It checks every 3 seconds at first, then less often, up to every 15 seconds, while nothing changes.
